My favourite places to visit in Ilford

Ilford has a number of hidden gems that are just waiting to be explored all you need to know is where to look for them.

Here are my favourite places to eat, play & shop.

Global buffet –
This is great if you don’t know what you fancy to eat, why not have a bit of everything?

Pie Factory
Perfect comfort food to fight away those winter blues.

Roosters Peri Peri Chicken –
Healthy, delicious, fast food.

Jacket potato is always in winner.

Ice cream, enough said!

Redbridge Library –
A great free activity. Keep your eyes out for exhibitions and events that are held at the library thought-out the year.

Exchange Free Play soft play –
Kids driving you crazy whilst shopping, why not head to the new soft play area in the Exchange located on the ground floor by the carpark entrance.

Kids Quest –
Located in Creams Café located on the ground floor of the Exchange opposite The Body Shop, this soft play is all shiny and new. It is great for all sizes (including adults) plus Ice cream and cake for the parents.

Valentines park and Mansion –
This is one of the most beautiful parks in Essex/East London. With so much to do including tennis courts, outdoor gym, play area, bowls club plus in the summer why not hire a rowing boat and enjoy the view of the spectacular park from the lake. And not forgetting the stunning Valentines Mansion which is open to the public and holds events throughout the year.

Check out the website for what films are including in kids club. New films at a fraction of the cost and all child friendly.

Cant beat the style or quality of Next weather it is something for Chloe or for me.

I love the kids clothing in H&M as it is very modern and also a little different. Chloe is now at an age where she likes to pick her own clothes and always finds something she likes in here.

Childs Play
Beautiful clothing and accessories. This for me is not an everyday shop to shop in more for shopping for a special event. This store has been going for so long I remember shopping there when I was a teenager.

Great for everything. I buy a lot of Chloe’s nursery clothes from here as she is always coming home covered in paint and I don’t mind if he £3 leggings get dirty. I shop here for work wear and who doesn’t love Primark pyjamas?

I would love to know what your favourite shops in Ilford are.
