Lee Valley Park Farm **REVIEW**

If you are looking for a fun and educational day out then look no further then Lee Valley Park Farm – https://lvfarms.co.uk/ Located in Waltham Abbey, Essex a 30 minute drive of Central London. Lee Valley Regional Park Stretches 26 miles along the River Lee, from Ware in Hertfordshire to East Indian Dock Basin on The Thames.

I love that that you can get up close and touch the animals. There is critter Corner that does a meet and greet once a day (check time table for times) and you can t get up close and personal with all the creepy critters including Cockroaches and Rats. There are also the Sheep, Goat’s & Pig’s  (and now Piglet’s and Lola has just had her babies)which you can feed with food available to purchase from the ticket desk.

Apart from animals there is an indoor soft play area which is great when you want to have five minutes rest, plus a giant bouncy pillow and the hill top adventure with toboggan hill!

There is also a new area that has recently opened called Dino Dig & Splash. Great for any budding Explores!

When all the playing and exploring has got to much why not head to the wonderful Bumblebee Café which serves a wide range of hot and cold freshly prepared food. With seating inside and out, plus yummy cakes and hot drinks.

Chloe’s favourite part of the farm is getting her own “Super” milk. Last year Lee Valley Park Farm launched its very own cow’s milk to the public. Super Milk is a pasteurised, non – homogenised whole milk available from a vending machine by the entrance to the farm.

And we can never leave without taking a ride on the tractor to  Holyfield Hall Farm to visits the cows who make the yummy Super Milk!

This really is a great place no matter what the weather. We went last week and although it was absolutely freezing we still had a great day and can not wait to go back in the summer and pack a pig picnic.
