It may only be September, but December will be here in a blink of an eye and all the great festive things you had planned will be booked up.
These are my top 3 things to book now to avoid disappointment;
Winter Wonderland http://hydeparkwinterwonderland.com/about-winterwonderland/
This is one of my favourite places to visit at Christmas time, if you want to get into the festive spirit this is the best place to visit.
This year they have new shows which includes Teletubbies Christmas show and a 3D experience of The Snowman, both of which we will be booking tickets for. They also have the Ice rink, circus and rides galore. I would happily go for the food alone. It really is a great place for the whole family.
There are a million an one places that you can visit Santa now, from the super extravagant to the local garden centre.
These are my picks;
Harrods – https://www.harrods.com/en-gb/christmas-grotto?icid=christmas_landscape-cta-2_module-27_element-2_christmas-grotto-at-harrods-title
If you want to go all out this is the place to do it. Absolutely amazing, but keep an eye on the website as tickets are hard to get and sell out very quickly.
Crews Hill Garden Centre – https://www.christmas-wonderland.co.uk/
This is a mini winter wonderland, it is magical with a train ride, Reindeers and a giant snow globe. Magical, magical, magical.
Bedfords Park Santa’s Grotto – http://www.essexwt.org.uk/reserves/bedfords-park
This is one of our favourite Grottos and we go every year, pus they have Reindeers on site which gives it an instant Christmas feel.
Keep an eye out on their website and Facebook page for details of tickets.
Is it even Christmas if you don’t go to see a show?
Like everything over Christmas you can go big or small to suit your budget.
Kenneth More Theatre – https://www.kmtheatre.co.uk/
They have loads of shows on over Christmas including Aladdin and The Nutcracker ( a Christmas must)
Stickman at Leicester Square theatre http://www.leicestersquaretheatre.com/
Stickman is one of our favourite books to read together, and I can imagine this would work wonderfully on the stage.
Horrible Christmas at Alexandra Palace http://www.alexandrapalace.com/
This is a great one for the older children and the adults, who doesn’t like horrible histories?!
Nativity! The Musical at Eventim Apollo https://www.eventimapollo.com/#DVgXYE95w2r7OUJY.97
Loved the film. Its one of the things I am looing forward to the most with Chloe being at school is going to watch Chloe in her first Nativity, I have such great memories of my nativity at school.
I feel all in the festive spirit now and am ready to put my tree up and watch Home Alone.
What are your Christmas must do things?
