13 Place You MUST visit with Kids

I absolutely love a family day out. There are so many great places to visits here in the UK.

Here is my list of great places to visit. Some I have been to, some are on my wish list;

The Big Sheep North Devon

http://thebigsheep.co.uk/

We first visited The Big Sheep when Chloe was around 2 and we loved it. We are planning to head back very soon. It is a real gem of the West Country, it has animals, shows, rides the whole shebang.

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park

This is one of the best attractions in North Devon. We always visit each time we go to Devon. Animals, dinosaur, soft play, what more could you possible need from a day out?

London Aquarium

We loved this place when we visited. Chloe was only 2, so a re-visit is  required. she would absolutely love it now.

Eureka! Children’s Museum

https://www.eureka.org.uk/

This is on the wish list. It looks absolutely amazing. Making learning fun for children and adults.

Lego Discovery Centre Manchester

https://manchester.legolanddiscoverycentre.co.uk/

I have only just discovered this little beauty. It is located in the Trafford Centre Manchester, and is so much more reasonable on the purse strings and still has all the activities of the Theme Park. This is a must for us this summer.

Think Tank Science Museum Birmingham

Kids old and young will love this place. From steam engines and talking robots through to gurgling guts and a chocolate wrapping machine, Thinktank has over 200 hands-on displays on science and technology.

The Eden Project Cornwall

So much to see and do here. You can go Zip-Wiring, explore the stunning plants and flowers. You can even get married!

Kidzania London

https://kidzania.co.uk/

This is on the list of Birthday days out for Chloe. It is great for letting kids imagination run wild. I know 100% Chloe will head to the Vets, the girl is animal mad.

Edinburgh Zoo

http://www.edinburghzoo.org.uk/

This is the only zoo in the UK with Panda Bears, this makes it a must see place just for this fact! We absolutely love a zoo visit. As Mr D and Chloe have never been on a plane, and I haven’t been on one for almost 18 years, I’m thinking a small plane ride to Scotland to visit the zoo will be an ideal trip.

Greenwich Observatory

This place is amazing for any bidding star gazers. Me & Mr D visited Greenwich before Chloe arrived and before we were married. Greenwich is an amazing part of London with stunning views. A great day out for the warmer weather.

Mountfitchet Castle Stanstead

http://mountfitchetcastle.com/

We visited this place last Easter and I think I can safely say this was one of Mr D’s best days out. There is the castle and all its Medieval fun including stocks, livestock roaming around and re-enactments, there is a café selling the most amazing cakes (always a winner for me) there is also a Toy Museum as well at the top of the hill. This is worth the day trip alone. It is situated at the top of the hill surrounded by Dinosaurs. They even have Del Boy’s 3 wheeler car. Great for a little throw back to your childhood and all your favourite toys.

Tower of London

This is my favourite London Landmark. I enjoyed it when I was a child visiting with the school, I loved it as an adult and I hope Chloe loves it just as much as me.

Natural History Museum

http://www.nhm.ac.uk/

Love, Love, Love this place. I can’t believe we only visited for the first time last year. It is amazing for all ages. Chloe loved it just as much as us. We visited in the winter, but I have heard that they have stunning gardens for picnics in the summer.

Please let me know of any other places to visit.
